Covid Policy

For the 2021 Minnesota Bluegrass Fall Jam, of which the Great Minnesota Uke Gathering is a part, the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Association (MBOTMA) has implemented the following Covid policies and procedures.

Following these Covid policies and procedures may take advanced planning. Be sure to allow extra time in order to make it to the sessions you want to attend.

To ensure the safest possible event for everyone at this time of widespread transmission of the Delta variant, and after extensive consideration of the options, we will be requiring either proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before arrival for all Fall Jam participants in the ticketed areas of the 2021 Fall Jam. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and stay apprised of official recommendations for indoor gatherings. Please continue to check our website for any updates on this evolving situation, or email info@minnesotabluegrass.org if you have questions.

We are so looking forward to gathering again for Fall Jam 2021! The health and safety of our staff, guests, and artists is our top priority, and we are following public safety guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Proof of Vaccination:

You can show a vaccination record card or a report (printed or digital) from one of the alternative sources below, showing completion of a two-dose (Pfizer or Moderna) or one-dose (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine sequence completed at least two weeks before your arrival at Fall Jam. You'll also need a photo ID that matches the name on your vaccination card.

Lost your vaccination card?
  • To access Minnesota vaccination records, use the Docket app (available for Android or iOS), or contact your health care provider.
  • To access Wisconsin vaccination records, visit https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/immunization/wir.htm
  • To access vaccination records in other states, contact your health care provider or location where you received your vaccination. You can also Google "[state name] access my covid vaccination records" for other possibilities.

Negative Test:

If you are 12 or older and do not have proof of vaccination, or if it has not been at least 14 days since you completed your vaccination sequence, you'll need to show a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before your arrival at Fall Jam. This can be printed or digital. You'll also need a photo ID that matches the name on your test report. (If you’re between the ages 12-18, you do not need a photo ID when arriving with your adult.)

The CDC recommends that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask when in crowded indoor spaces in areas of high COVID-19 transmission (which currently includes all of Minnesota). We encourage guests to follow this guidance, to be mindful of maintaining distance between people where possible, and to be respectful of each other.

We ask that you do not attend Fall Jam if you are experiencing illness symptoms or have been recently exposed to COVID-19. If you start to experience symptoms while you are at Fall Jam, please leave the event as quickly as possible.
