Ukulele Bears New Ukulele Players Class - 9:00 through 9:45 a.m. - Class covers mostly 2 and 3 chord songs from the Yellow book and our Ukulele Bears three ring binders.
Who - These jams are geared for beginners to advanced ukulele players. The Monday Jams are open to the public. These are not lessons. However, the uke is so easy to play that even if you have never played before, we’ll show you simple chords to get you playing along right away.
What - Moderate paced ukulele jams led by experienced leaders. The jam focus will be on helping all jammers feel welcome and part of the jam from the first song to the last song!

- Sheets brought by jammers. If you are bringing a song, you will need about 20 copies for other jammers, and you must know the song well enough to lead it.

Ukulele Bears jam is every Monday, unless the Senior Center is closed for a holiday. When the weather becomes warmer, we jam outside under a pavilion with picnic tables. There are bathrooms available and ample parking. Warmer weather jam is at Kohler Meadows Park in Vadnais Heights on the corner of McMenamy Rd and County F. |
