Twin Cities Ukulele Club
Picture

Who - These jams are geared for beginners to advanced ukulele players and will use the same jam format and materials as the other Twin Cities Ukulele Club day-time jams. The Tuesday Jams are open to the public. We will have free loaner ukuleles for those who need them. Click here for info.

What - Moderate paced ukulele jams led by Twin Cities Ukulele Club jam leaders. The jam focus will be on helping all jammers feel welcome and part of the jam - from the beginning.

Songs We Play At This Jam -
  • Daily Ukulele - 365 Songs For Better Living - The Yellow Book
  • Daily Ukulele - Leap Year Edition - The Blue Book
  • Daily Ukulele - Another Year - The Purple Book
  • Songs from Dropbox 1A ALL SONGS
  • Songs from the Petey Mack Singalong Book
  • All songs from the preceding source(s) will be projected on a screen.
  • Sheets brought by jammers. If you are bringing a song, you will need about 20 copies for other jammers, and you must know the song well enough to lead it.

Cost - Jammers are required to purchase an annual Plymouth Community Center pass. This is $20 a year for Plymouth residents and $30 for non-Plymouth residents. Jammers can register online by clicking on Details and Register for NWTC Ukulele Club, by phone 763-509-5200, or in-person at the front desk at the PCC. Jammers are welcome to attend a jam at no charge when visiting the Twin Cities or when they want to see if the jam is for them.

Because of a generous gift in memory of our friend ukulele player Don Venne, we have a great projector and screen, and we may show songs on the screen at this jam. Thanks Mary Rose!

Important Fine Print - We use the Daily Ukulele Yellow and Blue books, and the baritone versions of these books at most of our Twin Cities Ukulele Club jams. And, we show the songs in these books on a screen at many jams. In order to show the contents of these books on a screen at a jam, jammers must have their own copies of the print or digital/ebook versions of the Yellow and Blue books or the baritone equivalents. Click here to see information about these song books, and see #5 - Music/Song Books.
